Kept him warm enought to work out in the low temperaters. I purchased more hats. One for each of my eight adult children(men and women) and gifts. Everyone loves the hat. It scrunches into a pocket and comes out looking nice

No bells, whistles, stripes, tassels, or pom-poms. I'll wear it down to about 0 degrees F, then switch to a warmer hat. Or layer two hats. Whatever keeps your ears from falling off. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this hat.
