    I was excited to have a lightweight corduroy shirt for a mild fall/winter in sunny CA but this is not the one. Struck me as poorly made, cheap fabric and the fit was off...going back.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Perhaps if you've got very narrow shoulders, a very big bust, and extremely short arms this shirt would fit you alright, but as I fit none of those criteria, I have to send it back. I was also disappointed with the weight. Other commenters had said it's warm, but the thin corduroy couldn't stand up to a Michigan winter, I'm afraid.

    I was looking for a heavier shirt for winter here in NSW, Australia. This one meets all my criteria. I will wear it to work because I like to be comfortable and don't have to look like I stepped out of Vogue Magazine. I can dress the shirt up with neat slacks or take it easy with jeans. It is soft corduroy, washes well and irons easily.
