    A big plus for these jeans was the fact that the waist actually fit me! When I buy jeans and pants the waist is often quite large so it was nice that the waist was actually true to size.

    I took these out of the box and thought they looked good - seem well made. However, when I tried them on they seemed almost a size small. I like the lining, but of coarse there is no 'give' in these jeans with 2 layers of fabric. They seem soft and not too stiff.

    These jeans were so smooth inside that I hated to return them, but having the waist taken in, trouser legs shortened seemed a bit excessive to have jeans that ultimately didn't fit great on my pear-shaped body type.

    I always order a size larger when buying flannel lined jeans, and these were still way too small. The flannel is also a much lighter weight than I have seen in other lined jeans, so these are not as bulky, but also not as warm.

    Can't see where the negative review came from - the fabric is soft and 'weathered' but while I haven't put it throught the wash a dozen times, and my opinion could change after that (the only reason I don't give it 5 stars), it feels wonderful. I've become leery of buying pants on-line because the sizes so often differ from what the size charts would suggest, but these couldn't fit better.
