Mountain Hardwear delivers a great product and this bag will show you why. It's amazing how small you can compress this bag after you see what a high loft it has. BUY ONE, you won't be disappointted.

I ordered the woman's 6' long bag, listed as 4 oz heavier and narrower, in the hope that the extra weight would be insulation, and thus warmer compared to the men's regular 6' bag. But the women's bag, being only an inch less wide in the torso, was 1/3 wider in the legs and noticeable less warm because of it. I kept the men's bag despite both bags average insulation thickness being a 1/2" to 3/4"; predictably not enough for 15 degrees. This proved to be the case a few days later, when I woke up cold on a 27 degree clear nights' test in the back yard to put warm-ups on, despite being in a poly bag liner, and a Mountain Hardware Ethereal Bivy sack with 1" of closed cell pads beneath. Regardless, I love the men's Ultralamina 15 deg. bag for its soft close draping, luxurious feel, light weight, pretty colors, and a great price from STP. It'll be a great 30 to 60 degree range alternate to my down bags. I highly recommend this men's regular bag over the women's long, regardless of being a guy. Thanks STP!

After alot of research on women's sleeping bags and personally having a Mtn. Hardwear bag, I picked this model up for my girlfriend. She liked the color, the roominess/size of it (she is 5ft 8in and the long fit perfectly, and the quality of the bag. some others disliked the zipper layout, but she liked it alot and looks forward to using it next month in the mountains. Great product so far!
