The insulation packs like down and we did not expect a synthetic bag that feels this thin to keep us as warm as it did. The whole thing fits into a stuff-sack smaller than one of the single bags we bought for our teenage sons last year. It fairly easily forms around the bodies to minimize drafts, but a couple of silk or fleece liner sacks would probably be very helpful for any serious cold weather camping.

Can't wait to go camping.

It is only 1 to 2 lb(s) heavier than my backpacking bag and only an inch more in diameter and length when compressed so fits easily in my backpack. Saves me from having to get another single sleeping bag for my wife, which probably would have cost as much or more than this one (at least at STP). So instead of having to carry two sleeping bags we can carry one and saved room can be for other supplies or less weight. WIN-WIN. Again Thank you STP for your great prices, have saved me a bundle...
