    Pros:
    Affordable, Compact, Light
    Cons:
    Zippers seize a lot
    Best Uses:
As a liner for cold temps, Warm weather
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Used this for a Pictured Rocks winter excursion when temps were 20 to 30 degrees and very damp. Used inside a bivy sack with insulated pants and synthetic down jacket. I was comfortable, but not warm. Lots of condensation, but bag dried quickly in the wind. Zippers were a nightmare. Constantly catching, but that's probably due to the good wind blocking design. I liked the dual-sided zippers and they both have two zippers for venting. Overall I'm pleased, but would not recommend this for 32 degree weather unless you are well dressed.

    Pros:
    Light, Very compressable
    Cons:
    Temperature rating
    Best Uses:
    Spring backpacking, Summer backpacking
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I ordered this sleeping bag hoping it would be a good at least as a 2 season bag in California. I was disapointed to find the "useable" temperature rating was different than 32 degrees. I sent it back and have the Mountain Hardwear 20°F Ultralamina on order. I would have keeped it but I want a sleeping bag which I know will keep me confortable at 32 degrees not just tolerable. If used in the correct temperature range it's actually designed for then I'm sure it would be great sleeping bag. I wish Sierra Trading Post gave a little more detail about the manufactures temperature range, not just the "optimum" temperature it's rated at.

i would freeze at 32F wearing nothing in this bag, but that is the price of ultralight stuff: wear your other clothes to bed & you'll be fine. At least you won't suffer carrying all that excess weight on your back or bike
