This bag comes with a loose storage back and a compression sack. there is also a zipper which allows the bag to expand slightly during warmer conditions…or if you just want a little more room. It allows about 6-8 inches of additional girth on the bag. I like all of these features. The main zipper itself was a little tricky to open and close, but once I figured out the trick it wasn't a big deal. Overall the bag is very comfortable. I would use this bag in 30-50 degree weather. Although, if you're in the low 30s you may want an additional wrap.

Couldn't confirm online, but the bags will zip together if you buy a LH and RH bag, one each.
