    Pros:
Accurate temp rating, innovative design, Light as down, Packs tiny
    Cons:
    Not found yet
    Best Uses:
    Summer backpacking
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I've been backpacking/climbing 25 years+. I am about 5'7" and 155#. I own 13 sleeping bags at this time. This one rocks! It is as light(nearly) as a down bag but you can take it where you may get wet--it drys fast. Great for eastern US backpacking/thruhiking AT/etc. It packs tiny in its supplied(thanks MH!) stuff sack. The only way to make the stuff-sack better would be to use E-vent or similar fabric. At first I was hesitant about the double side zips but I like them for this bag. If it is cold zip them up, if warmer you unzip, if toasty out use it as a blanket. I also carry a silk liner if colder--the combined weight of bag/stuffsack/ and my silk liner is still only 1 lb 13 oz (actually weighed). That setup gives amazing comfort range. I have heard some complaint about the zips binding. Yes, that has happend to me too--but it also happens on almost all but the coldest weather (heavier) bags that are made. I did not find it a problem. The lowest I have used this is at 54 degrees F (measured not guessed at). I did not use my silk liner, had socks, no thermals, but a hat was on. I did not even zip it up all the way and did not cinch the hood. I was plenty warm-slept like a rock. This bag is EN rated at comfortable to 50 degrees for women and 42 degrees for men. Those ratings are based on wearing full base layer and hat(EN standards not MH). I have no doubt this bag hits those marks dead-on. (note: I tend to be comfortable at the mid temp between men and womenn on most of my bags). I could easily be comfortable with thermals and hat in this bag at 42 degrees. This just took top choice as my warmer weather, do it all bag. I rank this as high as the Western Mountaineering Bison and Marmot Lithium for doing what they are supposed to do. In my mind MH hit a home run here.

Just used this for the first time last weekend in the Kankakee river state park with my son's boyscout troop. Each night was cool. 2 nights between 40 and 45 and one in the low 30's. I was in a single wall tent each night (walrus tunnel vision). Conditions were cool wet and rainy. This bag was perfect. I used this 45 degree bag while wearing a fleece jacket and a fleece cap for the 2 nights in the 40's and it worked fine. On the night when it dropped to the low 30's I added an outdoor research standard bivy on the outside of the bag to increase the temperature retention. Like most light weight bags you have to take care with the zippers. This is also a tight fitting bag. I am sure that is by design, as it makes the bag more efficient in weight and insulation. If you do not like tight fitting bags, do not use this. I found it to be incredibly light and packable. It was easy to extend the bags temperature rating with extra clothes. This will be my new 3 season bag! It is a great deal for ultra light bags.

Great bag for warm weather climates like Texas. It is so lite and packs so small I have plenty of room for packing a liner and small pillow and still have room in my lower pack compartment. Handy storage bag for putting up when not in use. A little confining.

Took this out to a mountain pass in Alaska, it dipped below freezing at night but this bag handled it like a champ (I was wearing long johns). The only downside I found was the zippers were somewhat awkward to reach. Once you got used to them the bag was perfect.
