“I have owned this jacket for a year and couldn't be without it. I have used it hiking, backpacking, winter biking, snowshoeing, back country & cross country skiing, etc... it is windproof and and waterproof. I put a fleece or down coat on underneath depending on how cold it is (Alaska winter temps!). I got caught on a ledge when a rain storm hit and I just pulled everything tight and waited it out... and stayed dry and warm. My only complaint is if your aren't wearing gloves about 1/2 inch of the sleeve gets wet at the bottom when it's pouring out. It is well worth the money”
