I bought this backpack as a gift in Galaxy (Blue with bright yellow accents). It has replaced a smaller Patagonia backpack. My husband loves it. I would buy a few more if I had more people to give them to!

She needed a new backpack for both school supplies and for whatever she might need when biking to various places. She LOVES it. She feels there is plenty of room and pockets for her needs. She also likes the support in the back straps. It is one of the few gifts she will not be returning.

Reviewed by Michelle from tennessee on Monday, February 18, 2013I'm a student and typically lug around a very heavy laptop (17"+ with an extended battery), several textbooks, and a few notebooks. This backpack not only fits my laptop in the laptop sleeve, but has plenty of room for all of my other school essentials, books, calculator, a lunchbox, coffee mug, water bottle, umbrella, and often a change of clothes. This fits it all! So far it's held up to the rain/weather very well and seems to be well made & durable. I've used it as a weekend bag and it held more than enough; the longer side waterbottle holders are perfect and ensure drinks don't spill over or fall out. I would recommend this for hiking as well.
