I bought this as a gift for my Girlfriend and she loves it. Not to big and bulky or heavy. Just right for fall and early winter days in the great northwest. I bought this as a gift for my Girlfriend and she loves it. Not to big and bulky or heavy. Just right for fall and early winter days in the great northwest. She can layer and stay warm, has a hood to keep all the liquid sunshine off of her and true to fit. White and purple is a good combination, was a little worried but she loves it. She is a little concerned about keeping the white white, time will tell

Great rain jacket for the Pacific Northwest. Comfy. Fold-away hood seemed too big, but is nicely adjustable. Nice features with iPod pocket, zip vents, multiple cords. Looks good and fits well.

Bought this for hiking and sailing in wet weather. The material is very soft and lightweight. Water rolls right off it and it keeps me warm in chilly weather. The Small size fits well for a 5'4", 120lbs frame with room underneath for layering a fleece and a sweater. The bottom of the jacket may be snug on someone with wider hips. The pockets, vents, two way zipper and adjustments feel well constructed. Hood fits nicely and the cut is a fitted so you have room to move but don't look like you are wearing a potato sack. One thing is that the white fabric was already a little yellow/gray right out of the box and I can imagine it getting dirty very quickly.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
