Excellent midweight jacket with issues

This jacket has a lot going for it. It's very breathable, as I found out on warm, crowded city buses, and seems quite well-built with even seams, mesh lining, properly designed shoulders, nice extras (fasteners/draw cords/number of pockets/quality zips and generous hood.) I was a little surprised at how light it is, but then went to the MH site and saw that one of the prime concerns was 'packability.' This is not a heavyweight shell but it fits closely while remaining mobile, looks good, and I'm sold on the 'elite' membrane. I think that the trouble might be using it in extreme conditions, as it's a bit short over my small butt, fits too closely for layering options, and uses lightweight velcro patches at the cuffs which will get clogged.

  • Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Very breathable
  • Sizing: Feels true to size
  • Sleeve Length: Feels true to length
  • Was this a gift?: No
