Nice Jacket. Well Made. Dry Q Elite At An Unbeatable Price.

The jacket is well made. Dry Q Elite is MH's premium breathable water proof material. Be aware: there are two styles of this jacket being sold by STP. One style has a welded water proof zipper with the zipper visible. The other style has a more conventional zipper with a storm flap for water protection. The style with the conventional zipper has a mesh lining under the Dry Q Elite material. The style with the welded zipper has a second fabric later under the Dry Q Elite material that MAY NOT BE BREATHABLE, WHICH WOULD DEFEAT THE BREATHABILITY OF THE DRY Q MATERIAL. In all likelihood, STP does not realize that they are marketing two very different jackets using the same description for the jackets. I only paid $102 for the two jackets I purchased, one gray and one red. The reason that I know that the two styles of jackets are different is that the gray jacket has the welded from zipper and the red jacket as the storm flap and the conventional zipper. I ordered these jackets in XXL so I use them as a water proof layer over soft shell layers and over a puffy down layer. At $102 I feel that I received a great value for my money. Most MH jackets with Dry Q Elite exterior layers retail for $450 to $600 on the MH web site.
