I have worn it several times in snow (with layers) but haven't tried it yet in the rain. The material is soft, making the jacket very supple and comfortable. The adjustability of the hood is great. The only thing I don't love is that the waterproof zipper is a bit stiff and the fabric on the inside of the zipper sometimes gets in the way of the zipper.

I got a small (5'4" 130#), it's lightweight and breathable. The polar fleece lining in the back is soft and provides just enough warmth when it's a cold rain. been wearing it in the drizzle/sleet/snow we've been having in MN this fall. A good buy! I didn't realize it doesn't have a snow skirt like my last Mtn hardwear composite jacket.

Made of quality materials and the fuzzy fleece on some of the areas make it extra comfy. My wife is very happy with it and says it runs true to size. The only downside is that for a jacket of this price that it did not have a built in powder skirt, but does have drawstrings at the bottom to help with this.
