Mountain Hardwear Arete Tank Top Shirt (For Women)

Super cute shirt but I have to keep pulling it down.

This tank goes under a shirt in my AKC tracking adventures with my trust dog.

I ordered a small and I think the length is a little short. I'm 5'5" and it covers about an inch below my belly button.

I wear this hiking or around town with a skirt. I love the fact I don't have to wear a bra with it! No straps to show! I'm a smaller bust so the shelf bra works fine for me. Top is heavy weight but not too. Good length about hip on me and I'm tall. I liked it so much I got back on line to see if they had more and they did! Thanks STP!

Got this in the brown/yellow tones, and found that it compliments many other pieces in my wardrobe. Looks good solo &/or under a thin cotton sweater.

I was misled by other reviews (ordered a size up as recommended, found it definitely too big!), so here are some specifics: This top is supposed to have a tight, athletic fit (made from a stretchy material). On a slim person, true size fits great. Only order up if you're a different body type or don't like the skin-tight fit. I'm 5'8", 130lbs, 32D and the small fits great. The medium was a little loose over the body and very loose in the chest. Other reviewers have said it runs short, but I find it no shorter than the other two mountain hardwear technical/athletic shirts I own. I have a short torso, and that's one of the things I like about mh tops- they fit me! in terms of support, for a D cup, of course the shelf bra doesn't really cut it for anything more high impact than yoga or climbing, but that is to be expected. It works well with a real bra underneath for hiking. Because of the high cotton content, it's not the most quick drying shirt.

This top feels great while running. FYI - the top is a little short and I have short torso, so get a size larger if you want a longer length.

armholes are huge

I really like this tank except the XS (which I normally get from Mountain Hardwear) seemed too small---needed a small or maybe even medium. Overall, the tank seemed short, not covering the length of my torso, regardless of it being a little too tight. The material is great though, anf the top top is an attractive alternative for camping or low-impact activities.
