    Like other hiking pants the crotch has more room which makes them super comfortable. Have worn out and about in Santa Barbara. Will take on trips perfect to put in a suitcase. The waist is not very low-just below belly button.

    I really love these pants, however, I did read other reviews and decided to order one size up. I think I was in between true size and one size up. The downfall of ordering one size up is that there is a large amount of space in the crouch area. There are also no belt loops. I would stick true to your size for the best fit. They are great, durable, lightweight hiking pants.
