Mountain Hardwear Arroyo Capri Pants - UPF 50 (For Women)

Working outside every day as an Environmental Educator, I need clothes that are cool but provide sunprotection and lots of pockets for random bits. These absolutely fit the bill. Make sure to follow the advice of the listing and order one size larger than normal.

Hardwear makes some of the best apparel there is the market.

I'm 5'9", 135lbs, and the size 6 is a perfect fit. I consider myself a size 6, so I'm a little confused by all the comments that say these run small. At any rate, they're definitely true to size compared to other Mountain Hardware products I've tried on. FYI: I also bought Aventura Clothing Nevis Capri Pants - UPF 40+ (For Women) in a size 6, and the Aventuras are way too big in the waist. I bought these to wear rock climbing, and it's really important that they don't get in the way to raise your legs really high. They're great for the task and I'll use these all the time!

I ordered these a size too large as suggested. They were swimmingly too big. I returned them for the correct size which is perfect- not too small at all. Otherwise, comfortable and great pants.

I am pear-shaped woman and its not made for my small waist to my full thighs.

This is my second pair of these pants and I bought an extra to have as a backup!

These pants are misrepresented and do not run small. They have no belt loops or waist-cinch so if you get them too big you can't wear them.

These capris are great to wear for any day - work, travel, errands, a summer cookout. They're light weight which makes them very comfortable, especially during hot summer days. The size seems to be true; I'm 5'6, 122lbs and size 6 fits well; the leg lengths hit the lower end of my shins. I will wear them often.
