Mountain Hardwear Arroyo Skirt (For Women)

I took this skirt on a 3 week trip and it traveled very well. The fabric can not be pressed smooth and will be wrinkled after washing.

This is a great skirt. It's comfortable and practical, but also manages to be stylish and versatile. I typically wear a 6 in Mountain Hardwear, but since I read other reviews that it runs small, I bought the 8 (which I'm glad I did!). I'm 5'8 and it hits just above my knees and just below my waistline.

I travel for a month in Nicaragua and take only 12 lbs so this skirt is perfect . I will buy more colors

Get the next size up from your normal to allow the skirt sit on top of your hips for best comfort. Great leg room for hiking and activities.

Nice fit. Enjoyed finding the hidden features like the ability to hike it up at the beach.

The skirt is really cute, but I first ordered an 8 instead of my normal size 6, after reading the reviews. I wasn't much too small. But I liked the skirt enough that I tried a size 12 and it was at least 3 sizes too big. Good luck!

Many pockets which is nice but for some reason so very rare to find these days. Love the pockets. But the waist is very high, it's a "mom-waist" cut - a lower waist would make for a more comfortable skirt as we all know that we're more "round" after lunch than we were before. The waist seems too tight for the size so I'm nut sure how comfy it's going to be to wear while walking. My best advice: Get the skirt for the pockets, but get 2 sizes larger than your usual fit. Or find some other skirt with many pockets. Love the pockets.

After a long hike or bike ride, I like to wear a skirt. Also this skirt is great for traveling ( wearing on plane, etc, or for long car rides). I like the pockets, too.

I just ordered this skirt to use on a 5 month trip to SE Asia. I read the reviews and ordered one size up in the Talus color and it is too big!! I am not sure if I have enough time to return it before my trip - luckily it doesn't fall down and has the drawstring so I might bring it anyways. Also, I am petite (5'2") and it comes mid-calf on me when I was expecting it to come to or just below the knee.

It is a really nice looking skirt, and made very well. I just didn't care for the fit. The size 2 fit okay in the hips, small in the waist and would of liked it more if it was longer. The skirt does bunch some in the back and sides. I hated to have to return it!
