“Between a soft and a hard shell”

“This jacket is very comfortable...the lining is super soft, and unlike other true softshells, feels great against the skin. The lining is more like a thin layer of faux fur than fleece, but it doesn't look bad. The outer fabric is not thick and stiff like most softshells...it feels more like a hard shell with a softer nap to it than a true hardshell. Not sure yet how warm the jacket is going to be given it's light, thin nature. My one big con with the jacket is the sleeve length...the shell comes down a good inch or two past the inner cuff, making it hard to tuck under if you wanted it shorter. It's not a dealbreaker for me, but it may be for others.”
