    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I love MH... that being said, this is not up the MH standard especially for the price. The pullover is basic in design and function and shed so badly after washing, it mucked up my washer with fleece pillings AND for a fleece-SCRATCHY. Not something you "lounge" around the house or out on the town with. Bottomline: it looks nice but it should NOT be priced that high. I have a Weekendz Off fleece that is VERY similar which was purchased for $20. Looks good but the value is poor which is disappointing. It's NOT STP's fault re: pricing as MH priced this soooo high that even a solid discount from STP could not make it worth it.

    I could not get over the sweatshirt pocket in the front, I would have rather it had no pockets at all. If if had a hood and was a wool sweatshirt than I might have kept it. Great item, but not what I wanted

    Wool is back and better than ever. Polyester based materials are going to stink regardless of the anti-odor injected or type of detergent, your polyester product will stink. Invest in wool apparel. It releases heat you don't need and retains what you do. thinner baselayers dry quickly and dont retain odor post-wash. i'd wear this product cool to cold hiking/trekking/walking or bike commuting, during cool morning surf checks or out in Denver, Bay area, San Diego, Portland chicago or Atlanta.     This pullover is a product that is form fitted and comfortable. I like the fact that it is short in the waist and my Mountain Tech Jacket, which also is short does cover it fully. This is a well made product, not your run of the mill sweatshirt. It is stylish and has a nice collar. I'm very happy with this purchase.
