“I'm fair skinned and do a lot of hiking and backpacking, so I need a good sun hat. This hat is nearly ideal. About the only downside is that the brim is long enough in the back that it will rub against a backpack if it extends much above the shoulders. I may have to get a different hat for use with my tall Kelty external frame pack. It has a nice, stiff brim and isn't too floppy like so many booney hats are.”
