Reviewed by Colorado Mom & Hiker from Denver on Wednesday, May 22, 2013Nice cut in a lightweight, softshell jacket. Ample room in shoulders and bust, and back is cut lower to cover your derriere. The shoulders and hips are proportional, but not so much that slightly pear shaped people like me (smaller shoulders compared to hips) can't wear it. I am a size 8-10 and the M fits great. Jacket is unlined, but that's what makes it so lightweight. I got compliments the first day I wore it on a blustery spring day in Colorado.

The brown is a little blah however the black looks very smart. As a teacher and avid outdoors person it fits my needs perfectly. The only con I would have is the XL was way too big and the L is a little snug. This will be my "go to" jacket for a long time.

It's a simple, classic style for an in-town raincoat or a coat to take on a trip. It would give you more coverage for your clothes in the rain with it's mid-thigh length. It seems very versatile and a real bargain at the STP sale price.

Reviewed by Shortytamtam from Battle Creek, MI on Friday, January 04, 2013I purchased this after looking for a longer softshell for hiking in the fall and winter and for walking the dogs when it was windy and colder out. It falls at a great length for me of about halfway down my thigh but it is very thin compared to my other softshell jackets (various brands) It does seem to run small to me, I am 5'4" and about 140 lbs and the large is only big enough for me to wear a t-shirt or similar under it, a sweatshirt or sweater would be too tight. The sleeves are also perfect for me so if you're a taller girl or have long arms it will probably be too short. If you are a concealed carry it is perfect for hiking and walking as you don't have to worry about anything showing!

Answer For this coat the Large measures 42" at the chest 33" in length and has 34" sleeves. For the Xlarge the chest is 44" length is 34" and sleeves are 35" long.
