Zippers on this product catch constantly on the material around it. Wanted this design so that they are easy accessible to take on/off. You must be super careful when touching any of the two-way zippers - the material is so light that when you move the zippers they catch on the material. I did find another product locally but they did not have the zippers, so I am keeping these despite the issue w/the zippers. It seems that maybe it isn't the zippers or possibly the material is too light for the heavy duty zipper. One hinges on the other for sure. You must take extra time to make sure they don't catch. It kinda defeats the purpose of having Easy On/Easy Off pants and the price paid for them, but they work for now and they were a gift. Wish I could find something comparable but my better half spent countless hours looking for these type of pants and for now I will use them. I wear them over my business casual pants riding a 750 CC Motorcycle so they are good for riding on cold morning roughly 15 miles one way.
    • Best Uses: Riding a motorcycle
    • Cons: Material too thinto zip, ZIPPERS CATCHES ON ITSELF
    • Describe Yourself: Casual
    • Inseam: Feels true to length
    • Pros: Windbreaker material
    • Waist: Feels true to size

My husband purchased these pants in his usual size w/the hope of using them over his outerwear shorts when rain interrupted his golf game. Unfortunely, the sizing is only good for use over long underwear so he had to return them. Quality MH product. Good length @ 32 inch inseam.

  • Question “Product description says it is "waterproof" with critical seams sealed yet it does not have the STP waterproof logo. So how waterproof is this garmet? It is conduit, so I assume it is the 20,000 Waterproofness and 20,000 breathability rating. Correct? I live in Portland and plan to use this on my bike/motorcycle in heavy rain. Just want to know if it is going to leak at the zipper seams. Lastly, is this the thicker, denser, more abrasion resistant version of the "conduit silk"??”
Asked on 3/2/2011 12:00:00 AM by Emile from Portland, OR
    • Answer These are Conduit waterproof pants from Mountain Hardwear.

  • Question “Is this a soft material or a noisy, crunchy material?”
Asked on 12/31/2010 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer These are a typical nylon pant that will make noise.
