I am 5'-4" tall, about 120 lbs. so I bought a small, but they are about six inches too long and cannot be shortened due to zipper from thigh to ankle. Also, the torso section feels very long and I have to hike them right up to my waist (a little uncomfortable way up there, like old man pants) to keep crotch from dropping too low, thereby making walking a bit less comfortable. The material and quality seem great, but the fit is odd. I'll probably return them.

These were so big from the waist to the crotch that they were unwearable whereas the legs and leg-length would have been fine for wearing over another pair of pants. The poor sizing meant I had to return them. So didn't test them. Very disappointing as Mountain Hardware clothes are usually good. I should have read the previous reviews before ordering. I can't imagine these would fit anyone.

These were baggy in the crotch -- even layered over jeans/pants as they are designed to do. Often pants can be too short in the rise for me, but these were extremely large and baggy on me. I ordered a small (wear size 4 pants) and they were marked small, but I had to wonder if they were not mis-sized as they appeared that big!

I ordered these pants in a medium and was swimming in them but liked all the features enough to try a small and while they are still big, they are not balloony. And really, when your purpose is to stay dry, who cares what you look like. These kept me totally dry in a steady rain. The full zip legs are the best feature.

Had to return them as the waist band ended up near my armpits or the crotch near my knees. So didn't get to test their functionality but should have read the first review before purchase. I am 5ft 4 and usually wear a size 2-4, so ordered the small (4-6) as I was planning to wear them over pants or baselayer pants, but I needed something more like a petite XS if they'd had it.

I usually have trouble getting pants long enough. These are perfect. I wish they either had pockets or made it easier to get to the pocket of the sweats I wear underneath.

I bought these pants to wear at the sea lab I work at where I am constantly getting sprayed with water, bleach, and fish bits. They keep me dry, dont seem to stain easily from the bleach, and I can unzip the sides to cool off when it's warm. I only wish I had known they didn't have pockets! I also generally wear a medium (150 pds, 5' 9") but the M seems a bit big which I suppose is nice if you wear layers underneath.

I agree with another reviewer that these are very very big for their size. I like oversize shell wear, but these were to an extreme. I swapped my large for a medium.
