Mountain Hardwear Compressor PL Jacket - Soft Shell (For Women)

This jacket is great! Light weight, warm, and stylish. Great for winter activities.

I usually love the products from Mountain Hardware, but the fit was off on this one. The sleeves were way too long, and it was big in the shoulders also. I have not had a problem with the sizing in the past, but this jacket did not seem to be sized like their other products. I will still keep it and use the velcro at the cuffs to adjust the sleeves.

Bought this for my wife as a spring fall jacket. Does the job very well. Loaded with features and very warm for a very light jacket. Excellent buy.

the sleeves were unusually big for the size and length of the jacket. I liked the color... dark gray but sleeves looked funny so decided to return it.

Really lives up to its name as it compresses to a very small bundle, so its easy to bring along. I use it with a rainshell for wet weather.

This is a perfect jacket to either layer a shell over or wear on it's own in moderate temps. No pit zips (the catalog blurb said it had them) but I can live with that. The grill color is cool - has almost a light green sheen to it, not the normal drab gray. Can't wait to stuff it in my pack and be ready for the variable weather conditions in Colorado!

I was looking for a jacket that was not only warm but ultra lightweight. The Compressor delivered. In addition, it's very stylish and I am able to wear it to work with a pair of dress pants. Mountain Hardwear continues to produce functional jackets and manages not to sacrifice style. I love this jacket! I do wish I would have bought the one with the hood but I can always wear a hat.

After she stole my MH Compressor jacket while climbing in Joshua Tree last winter she had to get her own. I just bought the woman's version and she loves it. It is by far the warmest lightest jacket available and you have no worries about getting it wet due to PrimaLoft One insulation. Compresses into its own pocket for ultralight and ultra small storage while hiking in. Would buy again in a heartbeat!!!

I wear this jacket as an everyday item. I live in an active recreational area in the mountains and its great for wearing out and on hikes. I am a bit of a minimalist in that I don't want a huge wardrobe and clothing is about more than just "looking good". I look for purposeful, functional, and stylish clothing. And this jacket fits all three of those qualities. When the three can be combined Im perfectly satisfied. This jacket for is a great what I think of as an "inbetween" jacket. It sheds water but its not a rain proof item. I went by the sizing suggestions on the website and ordered an XS (normally i might be an S in a jacket) So do you actually measurement before you make your order. Its not made for extreme weather conditions but definitely keeps out the cold. Its super comfortable and warm. I ordered the slate grey color and I love it, its great transitional piece to add to your gear.

I'm actually wearing this jacket for everyday use and it is great. Stylish and warm!
