Closeouts. Mountain Hardwear Cordillera Shorts will quickly become the most important thing to bring on your hike (next to your pack). They are specially made to reduce abrasion under pack straps or hip belt, regulate body temperature, fit comfortably and stand the test of time. Constructed with Switchback Plus fabric, a nylon and spandex blend, that enables 4-way stretch for maximum freedom of movement.
  • Seamless conical waist with micro-chamois lining
  • Low profile, dye cut, welded belt loops designed to minimize pressure points under a weight bearing hip belt
  • Front hand pockets and zip rear pocket
  • Lightweight and fast drying
  • Inseam gusset

    These short really stand out on their own. The only thing i have to comment is that the leg area is too wide compared to the waistline and make them look flare. It will suit very well if there is alot of movement especially on the outdoors.

    I love these shorts. They have sooo much stretch that there is never a time that they don't feel like part of me. The only complaint I have is that they want to inch their way up in the crotch while I walk. So if you aren't planning to do a lot of walking these would work great.

    The shorts are made for a curvey figure. While I have curves, there's nearly a size a difference between the waist and the hips/bottom. A 10 was too big and an 8 was too tight.

    i love these shorts, but they seem to run small. i ordered an 8 and they were too small, so reordered a 10, they are a bit large, but will work. in the long cordilla pant, i needed an 8 and the 10s were too large. oh well, doesn't make sense to me. but i think i have figured out the sizing and now have 2 pair of the long pants and 2 pair of the shorts. different sizes though.

    I like the mid rise (just at or slightly below belly button) more than the tradional higher rise (at natural waist) shorts I am use to with my older style Mountain Hardwear shorts. They are very comfortable, stylish and have the same great wear that MH is known for. The flat flap across the waist is great for hip-belt comfort.
