I was looking for a "longer" pair of shorts and this product met my needs. I usually have problems finding shorts and pants that are small enough to fit me. I ordered a size 2 and they fit well; they have a pull-string inside the waistband that adjusts any gaps. My only comment is that they sit a little "low" for a mid rise short.

Mountain Hardwear is simply one of the best brands I've found for quality and fit. Yes, they tend to be a bit spendy, but comfort, fit, quality and lifespan of clothing just can't be beat by others. These capris are very stylish with a perfect fit for my sz 8 body. They do wrinkle just a tad, especially if you do a lot of sitting, but these wash out quickly with next time they're cleaned.

These are really cute, but I wear 6 in most things and the 8's in these are so tight the pocket outlines press out from my thighs. These are definitely slim fit, and even then order at least a size up. The quality and style are great for the right body-type. The fabric seems water-resistant as it's a cotton/nylon blend, so good for travel and sports. The color is more yellow than tan, hence "straw."
