Mountain Hardwear Cosmopolitan Skort (For Women)

I basically live in this skort in the summer. It keeps you cool, unlike shorts that can stick to you, and you look feminine at the same time. The length is just right so you can be active. I wish they offered it in a few more colors. It's a deal at [$]!

I'm usually a cargo shorts kind of person, but I wanted something upgraded for our upcoming vacation. Although the cut and design of this skort is unusual, I was quite impressed. Nice coverage for squatting, but not constricting and not too bulky. The picture shows the front pocket clearly, but I didn't realize there was another hidden pocket in the back. Pockets are good for flat items. The design is almost like a wrap-around with a through-the-legs layer - really hard to describe, but it's comfortable. Length is great for my 5' 1" frame, but taller women would probably find it quite short.

The fit is great, looks flattering for dress up or dress down. Very useful pockets. I will buy it in more colors!

I've only had a chance to wear the skort a couple of times before our cold weather set in. I dig it! Definitely cute, sassy and flattering. The shorts feel a little snug in the backside, so I make sure I wear lower on my hips vs just below the natural waist. The velcro closures make the front appear more like a slight "V" than straight across. But that's okay; it makes it different from my other skorts. I look forward to wearing it again in the spring!

The way this skort fastens (?) is really weird. There is a pannel that wraps around the front and is secured with velcro. I am a full-hipped woman so it pulled across the front and the material did not lay flat. Returned the item.

I am an athletic woman living in a tropical climate. I usually find clothes to run too big for me. This was surprisingly small, at least one size smaller than most other high quality brands. It is very cute and well made, but barely hits mid-thigh. The shorts have wide openings, so the length could pose a problem with "exposure." It is a "young" look.

i have found that this is versatile, very comfy, washes great, and looks great. i live in a hot, damp climate and it's sometimes a pain to find clothing that's good through the day, and this is! yay!

I didn't like the construction and fit of these. I love and wear skorts almost everyday of the summer, but these just didn't work for me.

I wear this skort casually. It is comfortable and cute. I am a petite so many skirts are too long. This one is perfect.
