I don't purchase a new backpack for my kids every year. This year I purchase this pack for my son to use for school, day hikes, etc. It is as all MH gear..AWESOME!! It will handle the rigors of what a teenager can put it through.

Very impressed with the construction and design of this pack. Plan to use it mostly for travel where there is lots of wear and tear. This pack seems to be one that will hold up.

Great bag. Does lack pockets on the outside but has plenty of storage on the inside. I really like the sunglasses pocket Lots of storage and overall great buy, plus Mountain Hardware makes really nice gear.

I've used this pack on two day hikes now, and I'm very satisfied. It's sturdy, comfortable, and holds a lot.

Big day pack with a padded notebook computer pocket. Heavy duty waterproof bottom and back are good protection in bad weather. The zippers are heavy duty with aluminum pulls that are easy to grab with a gloved hand. There are many small pockets for little gadgets but only 2 large ones. Easy access fleece sunglass compartment is a nice touch.
