This jacket was exactly what I was looking for because it wasn't puffy and mainly is waterproof. I love my NF Nuptse, but this jacket fits the purpose when it rains or in wet snow when the Nuptse will get soaked. This jacket is way more dressy and not very bulky for how warm it is. Finding a down coat that has a tougher shell is very hard. Most require a lightweight shell to wear over it to obtain some level of waterproof capabilities. Not so with the Draco and is the primary reason why I wanted it. I replaced a great Merrell down jacket with this because although warm, the Merrell would get soaked when exposed to direct rain. The Draco has enough DWR of a shell to not get soaked and still keep me warm. The sizing is a bit on the bulky size but still acceptable. I have worn other MH L and this feels a tad roomier around the chest but I presume this is for layering up under it if you don't trust the down fill.

Great all around winter jacket. Fit was perfect for hubby (6'1")who usually wears a tall to get adequate sleeve and torso length. Dressy enough for work; durable enough for play. Another great Mountain Hardware product at an awesome STP price!

Purchased this jacket for winter use. It's a nice jacket for the winter. Good weight and size. I like the ribbed cuffs. The lining is slick, so it shouldn't snag the clothes you are wearing. I returned it b/c I didn't like the way it fit. The jacket has very clean lines. The shoulders are square and the sides are straight. I wanted something that looked a little more casual.
