I have a few complaints about this jacket. The material feels scratchy against the skin, which eliminates wearing short-sleeve t-shirt under it. The cuffs don't have a velcro or snap closure, there is some elastic fabric, but since you can't close it tight around your wrist, cold wind goes right up your sleeve. The outside and inside chest pockets are small and on the same side, which means that if I have my cell in one and an mp3 in the other, I look like I have one huge left breast. Come to think of it, I really don't know how someone at MH signed off on the design of this jacket.

I was looking for a lighter weight three season jacket, and as usual MH delivers the quality. Awesome fit whether with a fleece underneath or a t-shirt, I usually take an XL or XXL in MH products, and the XXL proved to be roomy enough without being too large. Sleeves are more then ample for my 36 length arms as well.Pockets are awesome in both placement and size, although I feel the interior media pocket could be a tad larger for Ipod Classic sized players. But, the exterior pocket does fit one, and there's still a pass through for the headphones to the interior. The hood is huge if you're not wearing a helmet, but still snugs down fairly well for non cap or hat wearing people. Construction wise, it's built very nicely solid and is pretty lightweight in terms of weight. I wanted a more three season jacket instead of a heavier softshell, and the Dragon is perfect. As an added benefit, the Torch material is relatively quiet for a softshell material. All in all, MH did an awesome job on the Dragon, as usual.

This jacket is perfect for any condition, and the hand cuffs make the jacket perfect to wear with gloves or light exercise such as going for a bike ride.

this is a great versatile light weight jacket. the gore windstopper fabric makes it great for windy days and since its hooded and is water resistant (holds ups well under drizzle and light rain; not sure about heavy rain yet) its great for days when your not sure what the weather is going to be like. I also love the finger holes which are great for being active on cold days. the only downside is the sleeves are a tad long, though this is not a big problem and was the same way on the last mountain hardware softshell I owned. all in all great buy for the price

Took this out on a week long camping/backpacking trip out in the Pacific NW. It served as my mid-layer/windbreaker. Perfect jacket. The thumb holes are pretty clutch on the damp mornings to keep fingers and hands warm. Another great product from Mountain Hardwear.

Not meant to be an everyday, around-town jacket - but does look good. Is a GREAT outdoor performer. Breaths well, repels water (resistant, not waterPROOF (just like all softshells)), light weight.

I use the jacket every day. It is great for chilly mornings and transitions well as the temperatures rise thorughout the day. The pit-zips are great for ventilation, whether on the trail or transiting around town. The torch material is extremely durable and repells water well. Love the welded zippers, too. It immediately became my favorite jacket.

Very comfortable. Seems to be pretty durable. One of the best soft shells i've seen so far for general purpose use - everyday to hard abuse
