Most Helpful 4-Star Review

4.0 out of 5 stars. Thin and not sized for layering.

I guess I made a mistake ordering these with the intent to use them for downhill skiing. They're clearly a focused backcountry/touring pant. The fabric is very thin and doesn't look like it would stand up to a single encounter with steel ski edges. They're also not sized for layering, which is pretty disappointing for a bib. I mean, bibs have to fit over your insulation layer or what's the point, right? I wear size 31 pants normally and I ordered a medium (32-34) anticipating some room to layer, but the bib portion will barely fit over a heavyweight base layer, and is much too tight over a 200wt fleece. Order a size up if you intend to layer. Otherwise they seem like excellent pants, well constructed with large, well positioned pockets. Mobility is great as is accessibility.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Looks good but doesn't fit
Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Thursday, July 16, 2015
I'm a medium 32. I ordered medium thinking I would have ample space since medium is 32 to 34. There is no way a person with a 32" waist can fit with just a t-shirt. Someone else had mentioned this and I gave it a try. Maybe a 30" may fit medium. Consider these are winter snow pants and one needs space for at least some form of thermal wear. The Ski Pants are tight where space is needed and too wide at the bottom. They look cool in the photo. In real life it's a different story. Good luck!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great material good features. Just for men

These seem like awesome pants at a decent price. Only reason I'm returning them is that they are not cut well for a woman. I know they are listed as men's bibs, but I didn't think that wound matter as much as it did. The straps are just not in the right spot and the waist. It's off too high. I thought if give it a chance since the other features looked so perfect for what i need. Wish there was a women's style too!
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Great fabric, awful cut

I'm a huge fan of MH. Two tents, two sleeping bags and 3 jackets- all 3 are Dry Q Elite. This pant is a big disappointment. It seems like it was designed
for a pear. The leg width at the cuffs is 11" and it holds at this up to the mid thigh. Then it widens up even more! The seat and hip area is huge. It would fit 2 of me. I have the XL long inseam. I am 6' 3 and 205 lbs. Waist is fine, leg length is fine as well. But the pants legs and seat area are so baggy, they look ridiculous. Also the front zipper is way too high-you can use it to pee, but need to take off the suspenders and lower the whole bib.
Too bad-I do like the design, the fabrics used and the quality construction. But the person you did the sizing specs should be put in the "time out" chair!

Just got these pants, look great tried them and they fit always a good thing when you buy of the web.

Thanks to Reviewers that said they fit tight and order a size up, It worked for me,

They are snug in the upper bib area, definitely would not work if your sporting a bit of a beer gut.
