It works well for runs in cool (25-35 degrees) and windy weather, but not well for colder than 25. And, unlike another reviewer, I am a male who really likes the color.

I needed a hat for those warmer winter skis and aerobic skate-ski sessions. It blocks the wind, is lightweight and brighty colored. Perfect for my needs and although it lacks typical feminine styling, the color makes up for that. Only problem, my husband wouldn't borrow it on the trail- the color wo
