    I have used the gloves the past few weeks for spring skiing with excellant results. They are light weight and windproof and would also work well for xc or backcountry skiing.

    My husband and I both bought a pair of these for skiing last year. We fell in love and cannot live without them, really! After seeing STP's incredible price, we bought 2 more pairs each to pack away for the future. Our first pairs are not even worn out yet! They actually keep your hands warm, almost as warm as regular ski gloves (even though they are not insulated). My husband wears his even on the coldest days, but on those days, I opt for my much roomier thick gloves (just so I can fit hotties in). Great product.
