Verified Buyer Reviewed by Curtis from Colorado on Thursday, September 4, 2014I ordered the XXL hoping it would fit similar to North Face and Marmot XXL - more room in the shoulders without being huge through-out - no such luck. This shirt is HUGE - even bigger than Columbia XXL. Real nice shirt otherwise - lesson learned.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by El Scorcho from VA on Thursday, July 17, 2014Other reviewers weren't kidding when they said how big this shirt's cut is. I absolutely loved the material (crazy lightweight!), but unfortunately had to return it because there was just no way it was going to work, even as a supercasual baggy-on-purpose sort of deal. Way, way too big.
Recommend sizing down -- only qualm about the shirt.
Fantastic material that's lightweight and feels nice too. Really cool side vents.
I'm going to keep an eye on this shirt to see if they ever get my size in stock. Five stars, because I didn't listen to other reviewers and I think dinging a manufacturer for size differences is silly.
Reviewed by Mt. Hood hiker from OREGON!!! on Tuesday, June 3, 2014This shirt is perfect for a night out or a hike on the trail in the columbia river gorge. Being on a budget I have to find things that pull double duty and this shirt does that. I like the sun protection the shirt has (up to UPF 50) and the mesh that is built into the arm pits (which is sort of hidden..good design feature). Shirt also has a nice zippered pocket on the chest with a good sized zipper. I an 5"10 185-190 LBS and I purchased the large which is good for me( I like a little room in these type of button down shirts but I'm definitely not drowning in it)...shirt runs big. Some reviews say the buttons are a pain because they are a type of rubber but I haven't had and issues and feel they are more secure and wont accidentally unbutton. I stay cool in warm weather and its lightweight, would be great for traveling or even a day of rockclimbing, I believe it would hold up to climbing activities. One last thing, unlike some patterned shirts that would be out of style in a year, this pattern is pretty basic and if you are a fashion type outdoorsman this could be worn for many seasons and not look like last years stuff (if that matters to you). Finally I want to say THANK YOU to Sierra Trading Post for the great stuff you guys sell on here...with all the expenses of life and kids there is sometimes not much left for me and to know I can come on here and still pick up quality clothes and gear at a fraction of the price of other stores and online sites is hugh...I am a customer for life!!

Reviewed by The Shrewsbury Kid from Saint Louis, MO on Saturday, May 25, 2013This pretty and apparently conventional shirt is packed with all kinds of crazy features, like the pit vents, fancy stretch/ripstop fabric, some kind of rubber or silicone buttons (which I find difficult and slow to button, hence the 4/5 stars), and an extra flap on the collar designed, I guess, for added sun protection when turning up the collar. I like it because of the color, its venting, and that it can be dressed up or down. Swap the buttons and you might just have the perfect shirt!
