This pack was okay but it did not have great padding. Ialso didn't like that tthere was no access to the bottom of the pack, So if I need something out of the bottom I have to unpack and repack everything!

Good minimalist pack. Lacks a bit of compartmenting that would make this easier to use in general. Finding that one item that lies somewhere around your wadded sleeping bag and pad does get a little difficult. Had one seam on the loop that holds the belt buckle straps tear off. Luckily I had a seweing kit on hand and fixed it up; Love the Trekking Pole/Ice Axe loops

The top of the main compartment is narrower than the base, so while you can sometimes finagle a rope bag or trad rack INTO this pack, either is hellish to remove. I have this pack, and I've entirely given up carrying the rope, because even if I roll it narrow enough to get it in and out, then there is wasted space in the bottom of the pack.

love this. traveled/lived for 2 months out of this bag. it's relatively small for a bag - makes you pack only the essentials. the shoulder straps are a little unusual - they have more shape than the average backpack since they're more than just the foamy stuff. some may say that they dig into the shoulders. i didn't mind so much. pack fit my back perfectly. i'm 5'4", 150lbs.
