Mountain Hardwear Futuna Shorts (For Women)

Great shorts. Have these in stone and black and get compliments every time I wear them. Minor issue with pockets sticking out bottom of shorts while mtn biking, but not a big deal.

I wanted a pair of rugged, quick drying and comfortable shorts I could wear for day hikes and other outdoor activities and these should be perfect. Based on others' reviews that they ran small, I ordered a 6 because I generally wear a 4 (though sometimes 2). They cut is very flattering even though I found there is plenty of room to spare in the larger size. I probably could've worn a 4 for a snug fit. Not sure what people are talking about with the thighs being tight, they seem plenty roomy to me. The one down side of these short is the fabric - it's a little noisy and crinkly sounding, but that doesn't bother me. I am really looking forward to wearing these shorts once the weather is warmer. I wish I had ordered a second pair in the other color before they sold out!

Bought a pair, loved them. Came back and bought 3 more. Length is what they say it is, and I find them to be pretty baggy, if almost a half-size larger than what you would normally wear. True test is if they ride up when you are wearing a pack and they passed with flying colors.

Bought a pair, loved them. Came back and bought three more. Some of the backpacking/hiking shorts I have found. May run somewhat larger than your normal size, but one size down was too much smaller. The true test is if they ride up with a pack on and they performed solidly.

Great shorts for hiking. I usually wear a size 6 but went with the 8 for a looser fit. I wore them on an 8 hour hike in Kauai and absolutely loved them! They did stretch a bit by the end of day but went back to normal after a wash and some time in the dryer. Very comfortable and no issues with chafing.

Need to send these back. The tight thighs are similar to what Army Sergeants wore in the 1970s. A potentially great pair of shorts is rendered unwearable by the short length and tight thighs.

I would recommend ordering a size larger. The shorts are awesome. I actually plan on using them for golf.

If they were 1/2" longer they would be absolutely perfect. I really love the inner waistband (smooth & soft) and the zippered pockets.

Just got them, fit great but took a few minutes to get used to the slim fit of the legs. Great looking shorts.

I just got these so they've only been worn around town. They are the most comfortable shorts I've ever worn.. I should've ordered other colors.
