“A Great All-Around Jacket”

“I waited until I really put this garment through its paces before making comments. I christened this jacket a day or so after I got it by taking it on a pre-Thanksgiving Day paddle trip in 50F weather. It blocked the wind and shed the spray from the lake...good so far. It repelled snow, slush, drizzle, and wind while skiing in PA, VT, NY, and WV. Finally, it stood up to an all day drenching rainy day in the mid-30s. This is a great jacket for anyone who is active and needs good protection from the elements. Sitting around in deer stand on a cold day? No this isn't good for that...but that's about the only outdoor activity where I would not use this jacket again. As for the fit. I expected it to fit like a jacket, not a coat or a parka, and that's just how it fits. I think several other customers who complained about the poor fit don't understand the differences in these types of garments and how they are cut. I wear an XXL shirt/coat/jacket and this piece fit extremely well.”
