I got this for my wife. She likes the fit and function, but the dull grey (all they had) is not very feminine.

My boyfriend said it looked a little boxy and not very flattering... but he's wrong. Maybe it is not cut for curves but I don't think it's that bad. Not ugly at all, the color is cool and the hexagon reflective bits are functional-flashy-cool too. I really like this vest. The zipper doesn't stab me in the throat when it is zipped up like some vests do. The whole back area is mesh so it would be very breathable but still block wind from the front and sides (thus good for running and biking). The only thing I would change is move the pocket to the back or the chest instead of at the bottom but that is a minor complaint as it only comes into play while biking and it is not really a bike-specific piece. Love Mountain Hardwear stuff always quality.

I was looking for a lightweight vest to run in at night and in the early morning that would provide some reflection so I was more visible, and this is it. Super duper lightweight so I don't overheat in it. A couple of zip pockets for keys and such (though the vest is so light that you really do notice any weight at all in the pockets). The reflective stuff works very well. Highly recommend!

This vest was not what I expected. Planned for breathable waterproof wind proofing over base and fleece for layers hiking in light precipitation. Breathable yes, but it offers little of the other, especially back knit panel. The reminder is unlined single layer fabric. Knit binding on shoulder missed stitching on at least one location leaving fabric bare and fraying. Might be good for warmer weather residential jogging or walking. Very lightweight with reflective logos.
    • Cons: Defective stitching, Knit back not windproof, Provides no warmth
    • Pros: Lightweight, Reflective, True fit to XL

Running, extra wind protection, and reflective for running in the dark
    • Best Uses: Great for early am night, Great reflectors
    • Pros: Light weight effective
