Closeouts. A fully windproof, zero-weight marvel, Mountain Hardwear's Ghost Whisperer anorak jacket is so crazy lightweight that you can pack it down to your pocket -- not your hand pocket, either, but that teeny little coin pocket on your jeans.

I love it, It's easily stowed, lightweight and I can take it anywhere because of that. Hiking in the rain forest, you never when you are gonna get wet, I can pull out this jacket as needed and it's nice to not have to wear a raincoat 24/7.

You definitely can see whatever you are wearing underneath. The jacket is so thin, I felt scared I would rip it. It was a little smaller than what I would want. I ordered the small and returned it but would have exchanged it for a medium. However, I found a comparable option for half the price. I do believe it blocked the wind quite well - I am pretty sure I was a little warmer than I would have been without it on the one quick walk I took in it - but it was warmer day that I thought. If you are looking for a backpacking layer - this would be a wise purchase.

This is a very functional, tough, and nice looking windbreaker. Fits nicely with room to move. Fits in the palm of my hand and weighs nothing.
Need to consider what you wear under it as all colors show through. Wish it had a hood.

I piked this jacket up for cycling around town, thinking it would be white and light weight. It is actually more of a clear-white, and turns a pastel shade of whatever you are wearing underneath it due to the color showing through. So it does not look white on unless you are wearing a white top underneath it. It is super light weight, and made of a thin, parachute type material. It does not provide any warmth, but it does cut wind. I decided to keep it because it is so light weight, and takes up almost no room. You can stuff it into a pocket or panier and forget it's there, which is great for emergencies, etc.
The biggest drawback is that the color of the shirt you wear under it shows through, and creates a pastel look of that color. I saw a guy wearing this jacket while at lunch one day, and his red and blue striped shirt looked like a bubblegum pink and light blue through the shirt, making it look like he was wearing a girls top, until I got closer and realized he had this jacket on! So do watch what you wear under it.

I was really looking forward to this product but I received it and it was too small. I was going to swap it for a medium instead of a small but changed my mind all together. The arms were too short and the shoulders too tight when I crossed my arms. I also wasn't sure how breatherable it was going to be. I bought the white one and it looked like I was wearing a trash bag. Still looking for a break through wind/running jacket.
