I wear this as my downhill ski jacket. It is warm without adding too many extra layers. I also use it as an casual winter jacket. Great deal and love the blue color.

Love this coat. Perfect for skiing. I bought it cause I thought if was more like a raincoat. It is a lightweight skiing jacket. It is wonderful, though I have one like it in white already. Had to return it only because I need a raincoat. Love the jacket though. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I am an adventure educator and wanted something for skiing this winter, but that I could also wear around town, and maybe even on the trail on colder days. The inside of the hood has white lining, and white fabric of any sort = really dirty, really fast- for me. Washing the coat means Conduit DWR goes bye-bye faster. Plus, the collar (also lined white) lays down like a bomber jacket...looks silly. White is a bad idea Mountain Hardwear!!! If it had the same color (brown) lining I'd-a kept it. Alas, it was not meant to be.

It is too warm here for this jacket now, but I look forward to testing it in the winter. For now I will just say it looks and feels great. I got it in orange and love the color. The lining is a very soft, cuddly fleece. Stark white that I hope does not get dirty easily. Excellent price for such a snappy jacket.

This was a great jacket, but when zipped up, it was way too snug (even with just a light weight sweater). I had to return it. (I'm a 29 inch waist)

I am actually returning this jacket even though it is made well, is waterproof and is orange! which we need for our county's Search and Rescue team. Even though it's sold as a women's jacket, it is proportioned for a man. Big in the shoulders, tight in the hips. Good luck trying to do it up over a pair of ski pants. More for styling on the slopes, not as a utility jacket for extreme weather where one needs protection and function. Additionally, the picture is misleading, the wide collar lays down when not snapped up and the inside shows- white polar fleece. Cute, but not my cup of tea.

This is an awesome jacket for the money! I ordered the medium which I normally wear in a Columbia jacket but It was to big so I exchanged for the small and it fits perfect even with a layer underneath. I normally wear a 6-8, but the small worked better for me. I cant wait to try it snowboarding this winter, but for cold days this fall its perfect and looks great too. Oh, the hood is large but that perfect for a snowboarding helmet. It can be adjusteed so it looks great for regular use.
