Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by bear21 from Minnesota on Wednesday, July 1, 2015It's size and style is very nice, but color is different from the image online, and thick is not enough much. I think it is much more thicker, but at fact it is very thin.
Reviewed by Capt Pete from Mass. on Monday, April 13, 2015This parka looks great but is missing many features expected of a good ski parka. There is no wind/snow skirt and it is really drafty. There are no vents in the arm pits so if you exert yourself you can't open. This is not what I would expect of such a noteworthy brand.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jerry from Indianapolis on Friday, December 12, 2014Central Indiana winters are typically 30-35 degrees and very wet. Parkas are way too much most of the time - and rain coats are more for spring or fall. This coat does the job and very well. It's quite comfortable - I feel like I'm wearing a light coat - not a rain coat - and I have enough room to wear a fleece underneath when the temperature dips into the single digits and teens.
And rain - the Indiana winter wet (rain, freezing rain, wet snow) sometimes with 15-30 mph winds will chill you to the bone - and that's why I bought this. So far - so awesome. I've had it for a couple weeks and already have worn it in semi-heavy rain, sleet, and last Monday was 38 and mist - at least my upper half was dry :)
I'm 5'10" and about 190 - and the large fits well with room - the sleeves are a little long - which I like - there is a Velcro wrap to pull them back on your wrists. The hood is insulated which I like a whole lot (since I'm bald) and really protects from the ice and cold rain.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mark from Chicago on Friday, November 7, 2014This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. It is very light, surprisingly warm and completely waterproof. I typically wear an XL and the XL fits fine
Verified Buyer Reviewed by HikingMT from Montana on Wednesday, October 29, 2014This is a great coat. I've actually not used it outdoors yet, but the fit and quality is great. Looking forward to seeing if DryQ Elite is all it is cracked up to being.
