I was worried that it would be too wide for him, but it fit well, and there was enough length in the sleeves. He loves it - says it's very warm, love the stuff sack that came with it. The blue color is a darker blue. Very nice - overall great jacket.

So far I am very pleased. It has proven to be warm well below freezing temps. There is obviously some extra thought put into this coat. Extra pockets, zippers that don't get stuck, and the lined hand pockets. Overall, I am very happy, plus I got it for a killer price.

Answer The sleeve is 38" long on the XL.

Question “Will this zip into a mountain hardwear shell?”

Answer It will depend on which shell, I know it will zip in the Eturnia Trifecta 3 in 1 , so I suspect it zip into other Trifecta 3 in 1 styles. The shells that were not designed as 3 in 1 lacked the second zipper needed to zip it in.
