“like them, but mis-described?”

By Picky PrincessVerified PurchaserVerified Reviewer from Chico CA on 01/26/2009
Pros:
Comfortable, Haven't worn yet, Quality Material
Cons:
Haven't worn them yet
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:
Arthritic hands, Classic, Eclectic
Inseam:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels too big
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“I thought the catalog/web description said these pants had a gusseted crotch and that was one of the main reasons I chose this pair over another similar one. They don't. At first I thought it was a definite return, but I tried them on and the design does permit free movement (not binding),and the fabric feels smooth, light, yet durable. The fly closure buttons are nicely tucked behind a placket - looks good but is awkward to handle with arthritic hands. The waist feels unequally large compared to hips but the drawcord works well and is easy to use and not lose. Haven't worn them yet because it is too cold outside. The pockets are small but I don't see that as a "con" because I cannot tolerate the seams and bulk of large pockets, especially rear pockets like jeans. I bought them to use for gardening etc, but they may need one summer of less casual use (they look good) before I relegate them to the work clothes category.”
