I just got this jacket and love it. Is stylish and comfortable. The pit zips and powder skirt, high zip collar, and removable hood that fits over helmet are ideal features for skiing. Only downside was that I usually wear a large but that size was too constricting with a fleece mid-layer underneath, so exchanged for XL that fits great.

Reviewed by huthuthike from usa on Friday, April 22, 2011I will likely use this more for cold weather hiking. The quality is top notch MH, and the price is simply unreal. i am 6' 190 pound and i could put a light to medium sweater beneath it. Back goes down to mid butt (hope that helps someone).

Reviewed by RTF from Colorado on Tuesday, April 19, 2011Great ski coat for fair weather folks like me. I ski in Colorado and rarely do so when the temps are under 30 degrees. The minimal interior "fuzz" adds warmth in all the right places and this jacket provides enough warmth with just a single layer underneath, or light fleece if it's really cold (or cloudy). It definitely is not "insulated", but it is warmer than a plain shell. Because I use a helmet, I've never used the hood on any shell that I've had, even though they are nice when using the jacket for other activities. Here, the removable hood is great, and designed so that if you're using it, it is as solid is though permanently integrated. The collar can't be beat: it stays out of the way when not zipped up, and closed, it's more than big enough to tuck your whole face into if you need to get outta the wind on a lift. Powder skirt does what it should, and also is removable when not needed. All around a great jacket and with the right promo from STP, can be had for an unbelievable bargain.
