I love this skirt. It is great for travel but I can wear it to work. The fabric is nice and still light. The lining on the waist is super comfortable. There is room to move while still looking flattering. But believe what others have said: the waist is big. If you like your skirt to ride a little higher on the hip, order a smaller size. I can sew and took mine in about 2 inches overall from the waist, tapering down to the hem. Now it's perfect.

The quality of the fabric and workmanship are very high. After two washings it still looks brand new and has been a comfortable skirt to wear for hours at a time. The fit is true to size (I wear an 8). If more colors were available, I definitely would want several more of these skirts.

I use this skirt for work and I ride my bike about 4 miles round trip. It has six roomy pockets and two have security zippers. I'm an inspector and it looks casual/professional while still allowing me to carry small flashlight, camera, and keys. It will be great for hot weather.
I have pair of pants with the same type of fabric and they have worn very well after two years worth of washings. It's a little flexible -- just enough to give a little when I sit.
I have a small waist and bigger hips, so the waist is a kind of big so I'll have to wear a belt, but it comes with belt loops. It'll still be good if I put on a few pounds.
