I anticipated wearing it over tights to do errands, back and forth to the gym, etc. ... and I love kangaroo pockets! However, I had to send it back because the sizing was just odd through the hips, chest, and neckline and resulted in a much snugger fit than I wanted in this type of garment. Perhaps it would work best on someone with relatively few curves.

Great cover up after working out. I got a medium and I'm 5'1" 130# (heavier on top) and it fits perfectly. Length couple inches above my knee.

Perfect for the pool, beach, on the sailboat, etc. Not sure I'll wear it around town, but you could.
