Mountain Hardwear Lynx Fleece Jacket - Windstopper® (For Women)

Fine jacket & nice fit, but the fabric in the color I got (berry?)made me look like I was masquerading as a cheap velour couch. Had to return it.

PROS This jacket is super soft and looks good. I really like the feel and fit. I am pretty small. I love it for casual and hiking wear. The neck is awesome. It's high and fairly wide. CONS I wanted it for climbing as well, but it is just ok for face climbing. The drawsting buckles are bigger than some other jackets I have, so they can hurt at times when interfering with the harness. The sleeves are not stretchy so you can't pull them up; which is bad for crack climbing. Also, this is minor, but the zipper is "backwards". It has been sewn like a man's, which feels awkward.

I bought this vest to be ale to layer better at the barn. I have a Lynx vest in a Medium so knew it was a trim fit. I ordered the large so that I can layer the vest and a sweater under it, and shed layers as necessary.

Great lightweight Jacket

I bought this jacket for walking around a college campus and the occasional hike and camping trip. It fits beautifully with a slightly smaller feminine shape than other fleeces I have tried on. I am a size 4 top and the small fits great, I can layer a sweater underneath and its still feminine looking (e.g. I don't look like a marshmallow). The fabric is beautiful and I have received many compliments on it.

This is by far the best fleece out there. I am 5'10 145 pounds. I ordered a L for activty wear and a M for more low key days and errand running. The blue is bright and almost like a turquoise, very pretty and the white is very white and stunning! Everyone asks about it when I wear it.

I really love this jacket. It fits perfect and it's really warm and very comfortable.

Just as the other reviews emphasize, this is a very fitted shell. If you buy your size, you will probably only be able to fit a mid-weight underlayer under this jacket. For me, this is good: I wanted something windproof for biking to school. I like that the jacket has a nice hand. I thought the naughty rabbit fleece would be inside the jacket, but--be warned-- it is not. It is only on the outside. The inside is not plush. It is some kind of sleek, soft, black fabric.

I bought the black model last year for my mother for Christmas. I liked it so much that I bought one for myself and my sister. This year I bought one in white. We like the length of the jacket's arms (we're tall). The jacket is very warm while being sleek--a bit tight across the chest and narrow through the hips. I wear a size 16 top and 12 pant. The XL fits me perfectly.
