“Velcro closure at the waist is a different concept for closing a skirt, but it's not bad. It actually allows for a little customization of the waist size. I don't think the skirt is overly noisy. It runs large - I normally wear a size 12 in pants (thought I am pear shaped and my waist is more like a size 10), and a medium fits me well. It is great for every-day wear running errands, when I want something a little nicer than shorts.”
