Great mitten system. The pre curved liner with extra finger felt strange at first but didn't take long to get used to. It's a great feature to have when you need to use your fingers without exposing them to the elements. Used them for biking as well as a winter mountaineering trip and they passed the test with flying colors. Just be aware that the liner is attached with Velcro to the shell and that Velcro is very abrasive. In my opinion they could have been made without the Velcro. I use the mate to cover it to prevent ripping of technical, wicking, base layers, when not using the insert or substituting it for a warmer fleece mitten.
Best Uses: Backcountry, Biking, Mountaineering
Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Grip, Warm, Waterproof, Windproof
